There are more than 1,000 Steiner Schools in over 60 countries worldwide, the vast majority of whom receive some degree of state funding.

Brighton Steiner School is currently in the process of applying to become a Free School under the current government's new initiative. Part of that process is to show that there is demand for a state funded Steiner School in the Brighton area and we invite you to complete this survey.

When our School was founded almost 30 years ago it was on the premise that the education would be available to all, regardless of financial circumstances, but in practical terms this was not sustainable in the long term. It does however remain our intention, and with Government Funding and your support it could become a reality, without compromising the curriculum and principles that are at our core.
