Whole School Open Evening

Brighton Steiner School is delighted to invite you to our first whole school open evening with taster lessons for you to experience. FREE

Participate in an eurythmy session for parents with Kelly our eurythmy teacher. Eurythmy is best experienced to get a feel for what is is about. Eurythmy is an art of movement that engages the whole human being, integrating bodily movement with movements that arise within the soul. It creates a harmonious relationship between the inner self and the physical body. It is an art form more closely related to dance than gymnastics, taught in Steiner Waldorf school. Enjoy a science experiment with Upper School science teacher Rachel Gatehouse. Brighton Steiner School are pleased to have expanded our range of GCSE subjects to include Chemistry. Physics is also on offer for pupils as an extra curricular GSCE choice. Art in the Upper School is usually of a high standard. Observe an upper school art lesson in progress with Maddy Pettit.

You can also experience wet-on-wet watercolour painting in one of the kindergarten’s. All sessions are open to everyone, regardless of how old your children are.

All classrooms will be open for you to visit and many class and subject teachers will be available for you to talk with, from the early years, lower, middle and upper school. Find out more about the balanced curriculum on offer throughout the school and our distinctive education.

Teachers will be representing classes from Parent and Baby, Parent and Child, Kindergarten, Classes 1-8 and Upper School, where you can find out more more about our expanding GSCE curriculum.
