Answered simply, because a Steiner school reaches to the parts of your child that other educations don`t touch! The education in each of our 800 schools worldwide is based on the spiritual ideas of (the Austrian philosopher) Rudolf Steiner, formed into a rich and balanced curriculum for children of all ages. Because the ideas behind the education consider the developing child in all its aspects, the education affects the child in a profound way.

What Will I Experience in the Brighton School ?
The first impression is of a friendly, informal environment, decorated imaginatively in every classroom and communal space. Music and artwork are evident everywhere. Parents, children and staff share a strong sense of community and welcome visitors. In their classrooms the children can be seen working enthusiastically with their teachers. Their lessons are interwoven with music, poetry and movement, whilst the children`s bookwork is artistically and colourfully presented. We see children engaged in a surprising variety of subjects, from astronomy, mechanics and embryology to drama, modern languages, history of art and woodwork. |

What Will I See in the Children ?
Our children are generally described as confident and communicative individuals, happy to be themselves. They are clear thinkers, interested in everything in life, with a strong sense of morality to bring to it. Emotionally they become balanced, and well developed socially. They are creative, artistic and practical, with good hand/eye coordination. The education, above all, brings each child a rich inner world which expresses itself outwardly in a deep joy for life in all its aspects.
