Like every Steiner school, we are committed to doing everything we can to make Steiner education available to the children of all parents who value our approach, even where they cannot meet its full economic cost. In many countries - Holland and Germany, for instance - Steiner schools receive state funding. We should like to be in this position but so far it has not been possible to obtain state funding for any British Steiner school. So for the time being we have to rely on financial contributions from parents.

day of the term to which they apply. Extras are charged termly in arrears. All such invoices are due for payment
immediately upon receipt.
Monthly Payment - Holmwoods Termtime Credit Scheme
Families who join the Holmwoods Credit scheme can spread their payments through the year in monthly installments.
The annual contribution is divided into twelve equal payments, which are collected from your bank account by direct
debit. Further details are available from Reception. We regret that this is the only alternative to paying in full
on the first day of term as it costs us too much to process other payment methods.
Bursaries
There is currently no funding to support a Bursary scheme, however, applications for a Reduced Fee Concession
may be made to the Finance Group. The application form can be collected from Reception or by contacting the
Finance Department.
Late Payment
A 10% surcharge is levied on all invoices remaining unpaid at the close of business on the first day of term.
Contract
Parents are required to sign a contract with the school, which outlines the conditions of entry and their
responsibilities to the school. By signing this agreement parents signify their agreement to these conditions.
Deposits
Families joining the school are required to pay a one off deposit of £200 per child on acceptance of a place.
The school holds this deposit until such times as the child leaves the school when it is returned providing there
are no outstanding fees and proper notice of withdrawal is given. The deposit may also be used to pay for any
damage caused or additional expenditure incurred due to the actions of the child.
